Welcome to Chesapeake Station, a waterfront community of 108 single-family homes and townhomes nestled on the Western Shore of Chesapeake Bay in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. Only 28 miles from our Nation’s Capital to the west and our State Capital to the north, we are ideally situated for anyone who enjoys Bay breezes while having easy access to these metropolitan centers. Bay views, manicured grounds and a private beach are hallmarks of our community, but also within easy walking distance are numerous restaurants, a marina, a grocery store, boardwalk parks, two public beaches, a waterpark, and more.

During the early 1900s, Chesapeake Station marked the last stop on the Chesapeake Beach Railway running from Washington, D.C. to Chesapeake Beach, MD. Each year until 1935, thousands of Washingtonians rode the train to our bay-side resort town, then home to a boardwalk amusement park complete with a wooden roller coaster, to escape the oppressive summer heat of D.C. Much has changed since then, yet Chesapeake Beach remains a great destination and a great place to live! For more on our community history, select the “History” link in the menu above.
